Project 1: Platformers
The platformer project teaches how to build a two-dimensional game using physics through the Unity Engine. This game is designed to teach you the basics of scripting in the C# programming language while focusing on the features provided by the Unity interface and Unity engine.
You will learn how to:
- Acquire assets such as sounds, sprites (images), and animations.
- Create a character that can run, jump, collide with objects, and be affected by gravity
- Animate your character
- Collide with triggers such as powerups, traps, and exit portals
- Create and spawn enemies that follow patrol patterns
- Build a user interface with buttons and texts
- Add sound effects and music to your game
